Celebrity designer Giannina Azar and Latin Grammy winners Tony Succar and Albita headline an inspirational evening supporting neurodivergent youth  

MIAMI, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Born from a family’s personal journey raising twin daughters with special needs, the Supreme Twins Foundation brought together nearly 400 South Florida civic, business, and philanthropic leaders at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami for its 2nd Annual Gala and Fashion Showcase. While the evening featured high fashion and award-winning performances, the heart of the event focused on expanding educational and developmental support for youth with disabilities as they transition into adulthood. 

The gala secured vital funding for the Foundation’s core initiatives: PAP, which helps families access essential psychological assessments and other resources required by insurers; Artistic Expression, featuring student art and music programming; and Special Continuing Education, supporting partnerships like Miami Dade College’s ACCESS Program and EmpowerU Summer Camp to offer neurodivergent youth education, vocational training, and life skills for greater independence and self-sufficiency.

The event featured over 30 couture designs by Dominican-Lebanese designer Giannina Azar, whose creations have dressed stars like Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez, alongside live performances by Latin Grammy winners Tony Succar and Albita Rodríguez, and a special showcase by students from the Foundation’s music program.  

Yet, between the fashion showcase and musical sets, the evening remained centered on family impact. Co-founders Ilieva and Miguel Valdés established the Foundation after navigating care for their twin daughters, Nathaly and Nicolee, diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). 

“This foundation was born out of love and the determination to build a better future for our daughters,” said Ilieva Valdés, co-founder of the Supreme Twins Foundation. “When our twin girls were diagnosed, we realized how overwhelming this journey is for parents. Tonight is about showing these families that they are not alone.”

Among its various efforts, the Foundation also assists youth navigating the transition out of traditional school support systems at age 22, when families face an abrupt drop-off in daily care and therapies.

“Seeing our community come together proves that when we invest in these children and young adults, we enrich everyone,” added co-founder Miguel Valdés. “Turning 22 shouldn’t mean the end. It should be the beginning of a new chapter.”
