As hotels navigate increasing IT complexity, rising energy costs, and leaner IT workforce driven by highly connected environments, the ability to modernize without disruption has become critical. Building on its existing Hospitality Edition, RUCKUS® is introducing new capabilities designed to reduce operational overhead, streamline upgrades, and enable more predictive, data-driven network management.

Agentic AI Operations

RUCKUS AI™ solutions advance agentic AI with its Digital Systems Engineer (DSE), moving into real-world deployment where AI agents deliver contextual understanding and take action to help lean IT teams troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, improve operational efficiency, and enable uninterrupted connectivity for a better guest experience, especially during critical periods when network reliability directly impacts operations and revenue. For example, ahead of a high-traffic event, an IT manager can prompt DSE to assess performance across event spaces. The system proactively identifies potential issues, such as network authentication challenges, and recommends corrective actions before guests arrive. Over time, it continuously learns from recurring usage patterns, enabling it to anticipate demand and optimize network performance with minimal manual intervention.

Hotel PMS Integration

The RUCKUS One® platform now integrates with a leading hotel property management solution, connecting core hotel operations and network services in real time. This integration eliminates the need for additional gateways, reducing infrastructure complexity and overall costs.

With built-in hospitality workflows, IT teams can offload routine tasks and focus on higher-value operations. For example, guest Wi‑Fi® onboarding can be directly linked to check-in and check-out processes. As guests check in, the system coordinates identity verification, room assignment, and payment validation, while the network instantly authenticates users against the live PMS registry — granting secure, seamless connectivity without manual intervention.

Purpose-driven Wi-Fi 7 Access Points

The new RUCKUS R575 and H375 are purpose-driven Wi‑Fi 7 access points that build on the proven RUCKUS H Series design, extending its hospitality-focused approach with next-generation performance and simplified deployment. The R575 is a mid-tier tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point designed for high-capacity environments such as guest rooms and shared spaces like ballrooms; while H375 is a wall plate Wi-Fi 7 access point for in-room deployments that is compatible with previous generations to enable faster upgrades. Designed to work seamlessly with existing network infrastructure, including current PoE switches and cabling, the access points minimize the need for costly upgrades at the switching layer.

The transition to Wi‑Fi 7 is further streamlined through policy-driven automation in the RUCKUS One solution, where access points automatically inherit predefined configurations and security policies. This eliminates manual device-by-device setup, reducing operational overhead and accelerating deployment while providing consistent performance across the property. For hospitality providers upgrading from entry-level networking solutions, this approach delivers enterprise-grade capabilities from day one, without the complexity of overhauling existing infrastructure.

“The evolution of RUCKUS One Hospitality Edition ushers in a new era of AI-driven outcomes for smarter hospitality. Networks become active partners, anticipating needs, adapting in real time, and continuously optimizing guest experiences,” said Bart Giordano, SVP and president, RUCKUS Networks. “By removing traditional barriers to network upgrades, RUCKUS enables hotels to adopt next-generation capabilities quickly and cost-effectively, without the need for costly infrastructure overhauls.”

RUCKUS Networks will be demonstrating its hospitality focused innovations at the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) from June 15-18, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. For more information, please visit the RUCKUS website.
