(“Harvest Nano” or “HN”) and Dr. Refael Aharon announced that they issued notice confirming default and termination, effective April 26, 2026. The notice includes post-termination restrictions under the License Agreement and related Services Agreement involving West Michigan Sustainable Solutions, LLC and Goodwill Industries of West Michigan, Inc. (“GIWM”), without waiver of any rights.
Harvest Nano and Dr. Aharon are licensors and asserted rights holders of proprietary technology, know-how, and intellectual property focused on post-consumer textile waste. The technology is designed to sort, analyze, and convert textile waste into cellulose, microcellulose, and nanocellulose products, while also supporting identification and mitigation of PFAS, microplastic, and other contamination risks associated with the current textile-waste stream.
The Licensors state that they demonstrated the performance of a turnkey textile-recycling system, provided tests, samples, and end-use pathways, and offered safety, PFAS-mitigation, and contamination-reduction procedures.
Harvest Nano and Dr. Aharon further state that they achieved building and demonstrating what they believe was GIWM’s first performing textile-recycling operation and Michigan’s first operational textile-waste recycling facility capable of sorting and converting non-saleable textile waste into high-value cellulose-based materials, while also targeting public-health and environmental risks associated with textile waste.
